Lola Whittle

Lola Whittle, Realtor at Better Homes and Gardens Thrive, is a third-generation San Francisco native; Lola was a successful entrepreneur for 21 years, operating businesses in the San Francisco International Airport, San Francisco City Hall and a storefront in the Bayview from 1990 to 2011. Lola was appointed by the Mayor to serve as a San Francisco Small Business Commissioner in 2001, and was elected Vice President of the Commission during that time.  Lola has been acknowledged and received numerous awards by State and Municipal agencies, community organizations, and organizations of her peers.

Lola’s desire to become a real estate agent began in her teenage years from the admiration she had for her grandmother who migrated from Natchitoches, Louisiana in the 1940s, and purchased eight homes in San Francisco while working as a janitor in the San Francisco International Airport.  Lola believes that anything is possible for those that believe in possibilities.  Whenever time allows, she loves to dote on her two sons and her Bischon Frise, Papi.
